Preschoolers and toddlers are constantly exploring their environment. Keeping them safe and out of harms way while they are exploring is quite a job. Walk through your home and do a quick safety check. Look for unprotected electrical sockets, hanging wires and sharp edges. Check to see if your home has smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and childproof locks on cabinets. Accidents are the leading cause of death and injury for children, so remember to create a safe environment for your children to freely explore and learn in.
