2008 National Smart Start Conference Call for Workshop Proposals
To access the online proposal form, go to: http://apollo.ncsmartstart.org/conference/proposalform_2007.php
Over the past few years, participation in the National Smart Start Conference has steadily grown with nearly 2500 persons (from NC and 45 other states) registered and more than 200 workshops scheduled for the 2007 conference. We look forward to making the 2008 National Smart Start Conference the biggest and best ever. Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in this exciting event.
We are seeking presenters from a broad range of perspectives for the 2008 Conference. Participants will be interested in workshops that encompass all facets of organizational and programmatic development to support their efforts to develop comprehensive community-based early childhood systems for the children and families of their states and communities. When developing workshops, presenters should consider the multi-faceted nature of the audience and consider that participants may be at different stages of development. We also encourage parent and family participation and presentations.
